Casa N+C
Casa NAGED + C is a residential project located in Totumo, Tolima, Colombia. Designed within the guidelines of a residential complex that mandates a unified facade design using specific materials, this home caters to a young family who frequently hosts gatherings with friends and family from other cities.
The challenge
The primary challenge was to integrate a unique design that harmonised with the residential complex's facade requirements while meeting the client's desire for a spacious home capable of accommodating guests comfortably.
The solution
The design of the Casa NAGED + C addresses its challenges through three distinct zones. The Bedroom Area features a master suite, a daughter’s room, and a guest room, all with private bathrooms, walk-in closets, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Front Zone, divided by a main corridor with a glass roof, includes a bicycle workshop, a second room for an office with vertical shelving, and a social guest space, along with a guest bathroom, laundry area, and pantry with kitchen access. The Social Zone contains a kitchen with an island and mini bar, a dining area, and a living room with TV, all connected by bright floor-to-ceiling windows. This area extends outdoors with a pergola, pool, hot tub, and BBQ space. The interior design blends neo-Japanese style with vibrant colors, creating dynamic and inviting spaces.
